J.A. Woll-Handels GmbH based in Soltau, where it was founded in 1987, is a leading deep-discount retailing chain, operating c. 90 stores throughout Germany. Jawoll carries a broad range of food items, household goods, garden and camping equipment as well as textiles and drugstore items. Its wide product range includes weekly specials, seasonal offerings and a variety of branded articles all at highly attractive prices.
With a workforce of over 1,700 employees, Jawoll generates annual sales of c. 300 million euros, making it one of the largest regional out-of-town supplier of overstock items and everyday products in Germany.

In March 2020, an investor consortium including the original founder-owners reacquired the company from B&M Group, which had held the majority since 2014. Now, in addition to Adiuva, the long-standing managing directors Ralf Hartwich and Ingo Stern as well as the Dorin family, long-time cooperation partners of Jawoll, have regained ownership of the traditional company.
After a successful realignment of the company, Adiuva is supporting Jawoll in executing its growth strategy.
